William Reed never realized how much he loved writing until meeting his wife Sarah in 2001. Since then, he’s worked as a professional greeting card writer, preferring a humorous bent to what he writes. He submitted several short story pieces for consideration to a number of publishers until realizing that he wanted to write a novel of his own.

His first book, The Cleric, is a self-published book through CreateSpace and is available on Amazon.com (both print and Kindle editions). It is a humoristic tale of moderate adventure with a dash of romance. The print version is $8, 144 pages, 6” x 9” and the ISBN number is 1470009811. The Kindle edition is $2.99. Here is a preview of Chapter 1.

The type of articles he writes are about his passions in life including video games, technology, LEGO construction sets, LEGO board games, LEGO minifigures, and rubber duckies. He is also a guest contributor to The Brick Blogger, a blog for Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs).

He is happily married and living in the Sacramento area with a vast LEGO collection. When he’s not writing, he is either buried in a video game or designing a LEGO model to display. Together, he and his wife Sarah build original LEGO creations and belong to a local LEGO club, SacBB.

Born legally blind, William Reed works hard to overcome problems that arise with his vision. In the past, he has been employed by the California Department of Rehabilitation as a math tutor. He’s also worked as a DJ for two different organizations. He has a B.A. in Mass Communications.
